Triggering Shopify delivery notifications You can set up the out for delivery and delivered emails to let them sent by Shopify. ### How does it work? Shopify is not a tracking app, so its shipping emails are only triggered after a tracking App transfers the shipping status to it. Enabling this feature, Parcel Panel will update **shipment_status** for Shopify Orders via Shopify API, which will trigger Shopify Native Shipping notification email of two statuses: **out for delivery **& **delivered**. Step 1. Go to Parcel Panel admin→ **Settings** tab→ enable "**Shopify native notification**" feature under "**Delivery notifications**" section. Step 2. Go to **Shopify admin** → **Settings** → **Notifications** → make sure these two options are checked: **Out for delivery** & **Delivered**. ### Do I need to enable both Parcel Panel and Shopify notication emails of these two statuses? No, you can though. **ParcelPanel doesn't send the same email as Shopify except for the out for delivery and delivered emails.** So you just need to enable one of the Shopify/ParcelPanel out for delivery and delivered email to avoid sending duplicate emails to customers. We strongly recommend you to use ParcelPanel shipping emails. Because Parcel Panel emails bring customers back to your store instead of carrier website and are easy to customize, with various variables available & discouts/upsells displayed, and you can also notify to your customers and yourself. ### How do I know if Parcel Panel successfully updates Shopify Orders status? There will be an order status badge When Parcel Panel tranfers the staus to Shopify successfully. Once Parcel Panel updates Shopify Orders status, rest is Shopify's job. ### How do I know whether Shopify has sent the emails? Please check the Shopify emails log at the Shopify order **Timeline**. ### What if Parcel Panel successfully updates Shopify Order status while the customer didn't receive emails? You will need to contact Shopify support for help.
