Overview

Cover status reflects the current status of the protection cover. Claims status indicates the progress of the filed claim.

This article will guide you through the meaning of each status.


Cover status

A cover appears on the covers page only after a consumer places an order with Worry-Free Delivery products.

StatusDescription
PendingThe cover has been created but is not yet active, meaning the order has not been shipped.
If the customer requests a refund during this status, ParcelPanel Protection will automatically refund the insurance premium to the original payment method.
ActiveThe cover is active, meaning the order has been shipped.
Customers can file a claim during this status. Once the cover is active, the premium is non-refundable.
CancelledThe cover has been canceled, meaning the order has been canceled.
ExpiredThe cover has expired, meaning it was created more than 90 days ago, and the customer can no longer file a claim.


Claim status

A claim appears on the claims page only after a consumer files it.

StatusDescription
SubmittedThe claim has been submitted by customer.
Under reviewSeelโ€™s review team is evaluating the claim.
RejectedThe claim has been rejected. Details can be viewed in the backend.
ClosedThe claim is under review, but the customer has not taken the required action within 7 days.
AcceptedThe claim has been accepted, and Seel will pay compensation.
