How to Prevent Worry-Free Delivery from Being Purchased Alone？

Overview

Worry-Free Delivery (ParcelPanel Protection) is designed as a shipping insurance add-on and cannot be purchased as a standalone product. However, in rare cases, malicious attempts may occur where customers try to check out with only Worry-Free Delivery in the cart.

To prevent this, you can enable Fraud Order Validation in your Shopify Admin.

How to Enable Fraud Order Validation

1. Log in to your Shopify Admin → Settings → Checkout.

2. Scroll down to the Checkout Rules section, and click "Add rule".

3. Select PARCEL PANEL – Fraud Order Validation.

4. Click Save.

5. Turn on the rule to Enabled.

6. The rule will now be active.


What Happens After Enabling This Rule?

  • Customers will no longer be able to purchase Worry-Free Delivery (ParcelPanel Protection) as a standalone product.
  • If a customer attempts to check out with only Worry-Free Delivery in their cart, they will see a prompt message indicating that Shipping Protection cannot be purchased alone.
  • This ensures that Worry-Free Delivery is only added as an add-on to regular product orders, preventing fraudulent or invalid purchases.
