Why it said I ran out my quota since I haven't received so many orders in the past 30 days? I am on the $29 plan with 1000 quota and received 800 orders in the past 30 days, but the system said I have run out of my quota, why? Please let us explain to you detailedly. #### How does the system count the quota? The system counts the quota based on the number of your orders synced to ParcelPanel, one order —— one quota, and provides unlimited order lookups. #### Important! How am I charged when I upgrade/downgrade my paid plan? The charge is totally based on Shopify official billing API, here is the Shopify help doc: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/your-account/manage-billing/your-invoice/apps#app-prorating-upgrades-and-downgrades ![logo](https://www.parcelpanel.com/uploads/document/2021022797555799.png) **Note**: it means that actually the system won't charge you a total fee when you upgrade/downgrade your plan, charges will be prorated based on the difference in price and the number of days remaining in the billing cycle. #### Why the system doesn't reset my quota even though I changed my plan? Based on the introduction about upgrade/downgrade plan above, the system won't charge you a total fee, so it won't reset the quota when you changed your plan, but will update the quota reset cycle. **For example**: On Mar 1, I subscript the $29 plan and got 1000 quota, so my quota, Remaining/Total, is 1000/1000 and it will reset on Mar 30. I received 300 orders totally by Mar 15, my quota, Remaining/Total, is 700/1000, then if I …… **Upgrade** to the $49 plan with 2000 quota, I will get another 1000 quota, not 2000, so my quota, Remaining/Total will be changed to 1700/2000, and it will reset on Apr 14. **Downgrade** to the $19 plan with 500 quota, my total quota will be reduced to 500, so my quota, Remaining/Total will be changed to 200/500, and it will rest on Apr 14. If the date of my Shopify account bill is Mar 30, in these two cases, the system will respectively charge me $29/2 + $49/2 = $39, $29/2 + $19/2 = $24. #### Why it said I ran out my quota since I haven't received so many orders in the past 30 days? **For example:** On Mar 1, I subscript the $29 plan and got 1000 quota. So my quota, Remaining/Total, is 1000/1000 and it will reset on Mar 30. I received 1500 orders totally by Mar 15, so my quota, Remaining/Total, is 0/1000, and there are still 500 orders that haven't been synced to ParcelPanel. Then I upgrade to the $49 plan with 2000 quota on Mar 15, I will get another 1000 quota, not 2000, so my quota, Remaining/Total, will be changed to 1000/2000, and it will reset on Apr 14. Assume that I will get 800 new orders by Apr 14, so actually I need 500 + 800 = 1300 quota, this is why this issue occurred. It's a little difficult to understand, I hope this can make sense.
